Metamorphic Massage



Metamorphic Massage is also known as Metamorphic Technique or Prenatal Therapy and Metamorphosis.

It was created by British naturopath and reflexologist, Robert St. John in the mid-60’s, who discovered the existence of a human psychological map, reflected on the feet, under the map of the traditional reflexology points.

Researching on the maps of the reflex points of the feet, he concluded that in some areas, generally along the inner side of the foot (which corresponds to the backbone), the effects of the therapy were not only physical but also of emotional and psychological nature.

We use in metamorphic massage with six points or reflex zones: preconception, conception, post-conception, quickening, pre-birth and birth.

The metamorphic massage, using gentle passes of the fingers in the reflex zones of the feet, hands and head, allows to release these absorbed memories, setting in motion the vital energy of the person, waking the self-healing power of the body and allowing to this vital force to initiate the necessary changes for the person. At the same time, gives us access to recognize the obsolete mental and emotional patterns, in order to accept and transform them.

The effects produced are different for each patient. Sometimes, they are immediate, showing improvement both physically and emotionally. In other cases, they occur gradually and affect even the environment of this person.
